Ed lived in Muskegon, MI through most of his early years. He married Mary Ann Howe on 18 1967 1March 1961 at the age of 18. He join the Navy in July 1961 and served as an Electronics Technician retiring in November 1980. All his duty stations were on the west coast. After the Navy, Ed and Mary settled in the desert region of North Eastern San Diego County in Southern California where they built their home and he worked as a mechanic, school bus driver, computer consultant, flight instructor, and general handyman

Mary was born in Muskegon MI where she spent the first years of her life (acually about 15 miles 1964 August2out of town, about half way to Ravana). At the age of 15 she met Ed while in Sunday School. They were married on her 17th birthday. Mary worked in food services for the Navy Exchange in Vallejo and San Diego California while Ed was in the Navy. Later she worked as food service manager for the Borrego Springs Unified School District and then for Wynola Bible Conference.

We have five children, seven eight grandchildren and four five great grandchildren.  We are full time RV’s living in our traveling home.  We work with RVICS (Roving Volunteers In Christ’s Service) where we volunteer our labor at christen organizations.

Our Traveling Home is a 2004 Excel L35MKO by Peterson Industries. It has 280w of 5th Wheelsolar panel, 2k inverter, washer dryer combo, Trailair EquaFlex suspension, and custom entertainment/computer center in addition to it’s standard features.


Our Tow Vehicle is a 2000 Freightliner FL60. It has a Caterpillar 3126 engine tuned to 250 Truck300 hp, Eaton 6 9 speed manual transmission, air-ride seats cab and suspension, modified (added tool boxes) Trail-hauler RV bed, and a TrailerSaver air ride hitch. We normally achieve about 11 mpg when towing and 14-15 running solo on the open highway.
