We departed Smithville on May 21, stopped in Fort Worth for and afternoon with Wayne and spent the night at Cabela’s Fort Worth. The next day, we proceeded to the Branson MO area where we enjoyed a few days with Jon and Jane Wendt (RVICS friends). While there we were able to see a couple shows, ride the Ducks, and have a dinner cruise on the Branson Belle with the Wendt’s.

The Excel Reunion in Smith Center KS was our next stop where we renewed some past friendships and made some new. While there we also had our couch reworked, replaced one chair, and replaced a damaged compartment door.

June was spent with J and Lori in CO with the exception of a trip to Hemet for Jenette’s Graduation on June 12. Didn’t get a whole lot done there, but was able to finish one inside wall of the barn (garage, shop, or whatever you call it) and work on the road some (rains since have messed up some of that).

July and August we were with Jay and Donna in WA. Did a few jobs at the house - wiring, brickwork, shelf construction, installing RO system, and helping refinish the kitchen cabinet doors. Ed did some volunteer work the Black Lake Bible Camp during our last six weeks there. We took a tour of the falls and Bonneville Dam on the Columbia river on one Friday. Another weekend, we toured Northwest Trek with Jaye and Donna. And the five of us (Ed, Mary, Jaye, Donna, and Star) took a RV trip to Coho SKP park and toured the northern part of the Olympic Peninsula including Hurricane Ridge, and Fort Flager.

Summer is now over and it is back to RVICS projects starting with The Dunes.
