Our RVICS project for February 2010 was Oak Glen Christian Conference Center, Oak Glen CA. Oak Glen Christian Conference Center,.a ministry of the Free Methodist Church, is located in the San Bernardino mountains at the 5200 foot level, just above Yucaipa and Beaumont in Southern California.

Ladies Work: Deep cleaning of the Oak dorms, sewing elastic on paint ball helmets, painting Oak dorms bathroom floors with epoxy paint, sealing grout in ceramic tile in remodeled bathrooms.

Men’s Work: Our main project was to finish the remodel of central bathrooms including; grout tile on walls of ladies side (tile was set by previous group), tile and grout floor of ladies side, set sink bases on ladies side, assemble shower stalls on ladies side, install and hook up toilets and urinals, finish electric, touchup painting, and door installation.
The men also removed vinyl tile and ground floors in Oak dorms bathrooms in preparation for painting with epoxy paint.

Tour: We enjoyed tours to the San Bernardino County Museum, the Living Desert in Palm Desert, and the Oak Glen area shops.
